In Malaysian delegation including Minister for Finance, who name is Haji Husam Bin Haji Musa and who is also the State Executive Councilor and the Chairman of Economic Planning as well and the Finance and Welfare Minister of Information in Communication and Technology, with them others visited the Terminal of port city and the guests were accorded a grand welcome which included a Guard of Honor by the Security Staff of the port and traditional Aarti when they entered the port Terminal and they were later taken to the conference hall for further discussions and a some presentation regarding the growth of the Malaysian Port City and what the city has to offer in the future but the Management of the Terminal described that there were almost three weekly sailings between the Malaysian Ports and the Port City.
Which they visited and providing the some excellent connectivity which is the backbone to augment bilateral trade and from that the growth in and around in the 500 Kilo meter hinterland was highlighted during the discussion and the region also has been growing at a GSDP above the national average, which is almost truly reflected in the 47 percent growth in the container traffic of the Port City in the last fiscal which is recorded and hope in the future it comes very good business.
